In this recently held edition in S&atilde;o Paulo, the engineer Manuel Antonio Rodrigues, who is responsible for the Aplicaciones Tecnol&oacute;gicas Portuguese branch, has participated as a speaker in the convention to talk about the thunderstorm early warning system in the field of protection of open areas against <a href=\"http:\/\/lightningprotection-at3w.com\/company\/news\/lightning-interesting-facts-and-curiosities-about-electrical-storms\/s33c426\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">l<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/lightningprotection-at3w.com\/company\/news\/lightning-interesting-facts-and-curiosities-about-electrical-storms\/s33c426\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ightning<\/a> according to the <strong>international regulations IEC 62793<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThis thunderstorm warning system allows the <strong>prevention of lightning strikes with anticipation<\/strong> so we can implement preventive measures to minimize damage, allowing protection of people, animals and equipment.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"exhibition CINASE 2018\" src=\"http:\/\/lightningprotection-at3w.com\/upload\/imagenesEditor\/exhibition-CINASE-Sao-Paulo-2018.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\n\tDuring the congress, the visitors could get in direct touch with the <strong>ATSTORM<\/strong> solution, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lightningprotection-at3w.com\/products\/storm-detectors\/s2xat5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">thunderstorm warning system<\/a> developed by Aplicaciones Teconol&oacute;gicas, at the exhibition area offered at the event.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBrasil is one of the geographical areas in the world which is most affected by lightning strikes. There are 57.8 million lightning bolts, 130 lives lost by lightning strikes and 500 people injured registered every year.
