The project has been carried out through the official distributor in the country, INCOTER S.R.L.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Torre \u00cdcono<\/strong>, the tallest building in Paraguay, is protected against the effects of electrical storms with the technology of Aplicaciones Tecnol\u00f3gicas S.A. It is a tower with a height of more than 140 metres, with an Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning rod on its roof, a DAT CONTROLER\u00ae device. The lightning protection system project has been carried out in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Incoter\/?locale=es_LA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>INCOTER SRL<\/strong><\/a>, the official distributor of Aplicaciones Tecnol\u00f3gicas S.A. in Paraguay.<\/p>\n<p>The \u00cdcono Tower is a project by architect <strong>Carlos A. Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong> of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/estarq.com.py\/icono-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Est Arquitectura SRL<\/a><\/strong>, executed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/gomeznunezpy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Constructora G\u00f3mez Nu\u00f1ez S.A<\/strong><\/a>. The skyscraper is located at the head of the historic centre of Asunci\u00f3n, in a traditional mixed-use district housing embassies, cultural centres, residential buildings and offices. In addition to its size, its red colour contrasts with the dominant green of the area, making it visible from practically the entire city.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to being the tallest building in the entire country, <strong>Torre \u00cdcono<\/strong> has another special feature: it is the first building in Asunci\u00f3n in which the loft concept has been applied to each floor for its owners to design and complete as they wish.<\/p>\n<p>Skyscrapers such as <strong>Torre \u00cdcono<\/strong> in Paraguay are prime locations for lightning strikes, to which special attention must be paid. In these cases, to calculate the protection area of this type of structure, the lightning risk calculation regulations consider a surrounding area of 3 times its height. As it approaches the earth, it can strike any object.
