Upcoming free online webinars for professionals: November 2024

Aplicaciones Tecnológicas puts its more than 35 years of experience to offer free webinars aimed at professionals involved in the design of lightning protection systems and safety against electrical storms, design and implementation of earthing and surge protection systems.

All training courses are free of charge and places are limited. For the full schedule, please see our webinar page.

Webinar for smart lightning rods with Early Streamer Emission (ESE) DAT CONTROLER® REMOTE

The DAT CONTROLER® REMOTE smart lightning rod is a reference in its segment, the Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning rod. This type of high-tech lightning rod emits a continuous upward tracer with a lead time to anticipate the lightning strike and catch it before any other object within its protection radius.

The DAT CONTROLER® REMOTE lightning rod is equipped with IoT technology which allows it to communicate its status daily, thus warning of possible critical repairs before any scheduled overhaul.

Webinar on ATSTORM®, smart early warning system for risk prevention against lightning storms

The ATSTORM® thunderstorm detector is a technologically advanced solution for anticipating the risk of thunderstorms that gathers information on electrostatic field variations, the only unequivocal indicator of the risk of lightning strikes under any circumstances, according to the international standard IEC 62793:2020.

The ATSTORM® thunderstorm detection system collects this information in real-time from its detection units and sends it via IoT to a secure server, where specialised algorithms estimate the risk of a lightning storm and activate temporary preventive measures to save people and assets and optimise downtime.

This training is especially aimed at occupational health and safety managers, prevention technicians, operations or innovation managers and maintenance managers, among others.
