Homes and business premises contain an increasing number of electric and electronic equipment, with more complex and essential functions. The damages due to overvoltages can be very serious for computers or TVs including peripherals, which are becoming more expensive and sophisticated.
Besides, those devices are often interconnected, thus multiplying the probabilities of being affected by overvoltages. On another side, the available space in power supply boards where protectors can be placed is always limited.
Aplicaciones Tecnológicas S.A, launches the thinnest protector on the market: ATSUB-D M 3/4DIN (Ref.: AT-8219). With a width of only 13,5mm a full protection is achieved, both in common and differential mode, with a maximum discharge current of 15kA (8/20µs wave).
In addition, the protector is equipped with a luminous fault alarm that warns in case the protector has worked beyond its maximum parameters. Then the protector can be easily changed thanks to its removable cartridge (Ref.: AT-8210).
