Our Early Streamer Emission air terminal and our surge portectors protect telecommunications towers in Guatemala
Telecommunication towers, as we have mentioned beforehand, are very sensitive to lightning strikes. They have antennas and other elements along its height and often they have as well other buildings on the base that have to be efficiently protected against lightning strikes and overvoltages.
Such is the case of the Electrical Institute of Guatemala (INDE). Their communication nodes have been protected with DAT CONTROLLER® PLUS lightning rods and ATBARRIER surge protectors. These nodes have antennas with RF communication elements to perform the internal communication network.
